West Essex Golf Club nestles in a quiet corner of Epping Forest with spectacular view over London and the surrounding countryside.

Directions to the club
From the City
Head for Chingford and then Chingford British Rail station, pass the station on your right and then turn left into Bury Road. Royal Epping Golf Club is immediately on the left. (Do not take the turn alongside the Mitsubishi dealer) Carry on along Bury Road for 1 ¼ miles through Sewardstonebury and West Essex Golf Club is on the right. You will see Gilwell Park Scout Camp on the left-we are 200 yards beyond their main entrance.
From the North Circular
Take the Chingford exit and follow signs for Chingford onto the Epping New Road. Turn left into Rangers Road and carry on for 1 ½ miles, past the Royal Forest Inn and as you pass the open common on your right take the next right turn into Bury Road. The clubhouses for Chingford and Royal Epping Golf Clubs are on both sides of the road immediately on the left after you turn into Bury Road. Carry on along Bury Road for 1 ¼ miles, through Sewardstonebury and West Essex Golf Club is on the right. You will see Gilwell Park Scout Camp on the left-we are 200 yards beyond their main entrance.
From the M25
Leave M25 at Junction 26 and follow signs for CHINGFORD (A112), travelling parallel to the M25 westbound. At next roundabout take the first exit into Sewardstone Road. 100 yards past the Texaco petrol station on your right turn left at Daws Hill (there is a post box on the island at this left turn).
Continue up the hill and past farm buildings on your left. As the road straightens out the West Essex Golf Club is on the left hand side, between the brick gate posts.
