Our membership team will offer you a warm welcome and introduce you to a playing group that plays on the day and time you prefer to play. Upon joining you will receive a welcome pack with everything you need to know, including how to gain your handicap and the competition calendar.

*The joint membership discount of 10% is applicable when two adults over the age of 30, living at the same address, purchase any combination of categories of playing membership.
The membership year at West Essex Golf Club runs from 1st September through to 31st August each calendar year. Members are required to make a minimum payment into their clubhouse discount swipe card account.
Payment Options
- Pay Up Front and Save 14.9% APR– Pay the pro-rata amount due for the period up to 31 August 2012 and avoid an admin fee. For example, join on 01 May 2012 and only pay for four months subscriptions plus the minimum clubhouse discount card credit of £100.
- Pay Monthly– Pay the pro-rata amount due for the period up to 31 August 2012 plus a fee of 6.5% (Typical APR 14.9% variable) using Fairway Credit. For example, join on 01 May 2012 and pay for four months subscriptions, plus 6.5%, plus the minimum clubhouse discount card credit of £100. Fairway Credit cannot be used for the payment of Junior or Student Memberships.

Details and times of our playing groups
At West Essex members can turn up and play anytime they wish but there are also organised playing groups or 'swindles'.
Most of them draw balls out of the hat or decide playing groups for the day.
